Memories are a part of our making sense and meaning of the people, places and objects around us. Being born and bred outside of Australia - in Chicago and Kuala Lumpur; we wanted to show through these photographs regular albeit individually mapped journeys across the city of Melbourne, which has been our home for the past five years.
The photographs display people or places and objects you recognize and walk past everyday but might think differently of. It aims to bring a small but intimate insight into the microcosm of memories and meanings born of different mindscapes and the way in which meanings are attached and recreated in order to produce knowledge, possession and belonging far away from home.
